The 2011 Apple Pumpkin Festival continues the tradition of showcasing an impressive selection of accomplished local musicians. Bring your whole family out for some great entertainment for all ages and listening styles!
Music at Stage #1
10:00a.m.
Nickels and Dimes Margaret Arsenault and James Littlefield of Jay write, sing and play country music, preferring traditional country. Margaret plays 12 string guitar, keyboard and sings vocals. James plays 6 string guitar, keyboard and sings vocals. They played in the Arsenault Family Band, until 1999, when they decided to play on their own as Nickels and Dimes. They have written original pieces, produced CD's and have won numerous awards.

Lolalee and the Country Bandits The band has been together for 5 years. They play Traditional Country, Swing (big band sounds), Rock n' Roll, Gospel and some New Country. It's members are Lolalee Dillingham (S. Woodstock) lead vocalist, Dick Moreau (Jay) lead guitarist and vocalist, Arthur (Benny) Benedetto (Jay) bass and vocals, George DeWitt (Auburn) rhythm guitarist and vocalist (out with medical problems), and Del Parker (Andover} rhythm guitarist, songwriter and vocalist. They entertain all over Oxford, Cumberland, Franklin and Androscoggin counties. Bill Giasson played with a number of rock and roll, and country bands, before forming the band "Luke" in 1982. In 1985, he joined the band "Silver Wings", and played with them off and on until 1994. His trademark was 7 bags of hats and wigs that earned him the moniker "The Hat Man". During his career he has won numerous music awards.

Barry Wood has played most every state in New England over the past 59 years. His roots are in country, but he also plays soft rock, jazz and the old standards. Barry has won numerous awards from the Down East and the Maine Country Music Associations, the Maine State House and Senate, and the North American Country Music Association, International in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He has also played at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York with Les Paul.

Potpourri is the award-winning singer/songwriter duo of Brenda Bond and Connie Fletcher. Best known for their tight harmonies and song twists, Brenda and Connie's eclectic style has been entertaining folks for over a decade. From classic rock to country, folk, oldies and beyond, Potpourri draws from a wide variety of musical styles. From tear jerkers to toe tappers, Potpourri keeps their audiences entertained. Music at Stage #2
10:00a.m.
Paul Bright Singing since he was 5, he first performed publicly in second grade. He performed on television and lounges in the greater Boston area, and concerts for the Univ. of Mass., Eastern College Placement Officers, The Norlands, and social and philanthropic groups. He performs yearly in the Myrtle Beach, SC area, Ontario and Maine . He sings a variety of pop, standard, country, folk and Christian music. Self taught, Paul is considered to be an excellent finger-style rhythm guitarist. After retiring, Paul has performed regularly at the Wayne Community Church and other local events.

Jan Gill & Friends Jan Gill graduated from UM at Augusta with a B.S. in music performance, majoring in piano. She teaches music for grades K-5 at Livermore Elementary School. A music entertainer and teacher in the Livermore area for over 35 years, she will be entertaining along with many of her students at the Apple Pumpkin Festival. There will be a segment of sing-a-longs and performances from several of her students.

Crash Road Band These local musicians have been together since 2003. It started in the basement of the old Livermore Falls Middle School with a goal of playing good music for a good cause. Over the years, Crash Road Band has raised over $50K for local causes and looks to continue to give back to the community. They are repeat performers at several local venues and always up for a good time. The members of Crash Road are Don LeSuer on drums and vocals, Matt Gilbert on guitar and vocals, Chris Moreau on bass and vocals, Alex Wilbur and Wilbur Shardlow are splitting lead and rhythm guitar.

Paula Kaiser and The Off The Hill Band L ittle bit country, little bit pop, touch of bluegrass and a little bit rock. Founded in 2003, band leader/founder Kaiser says the uplifting, musical variety fulfills her vision. From Fayette, she has won vocal and songwriting awards. Veteran member, vocalist Alan Rich plays lead, rhythm guitar, and mandolin. Al of "Underdog Recording Studio" in Livermore provides sound/technical support. In 30 years, he finds this band more challenging and rewarding than others. In 2010, seasoned actor/musician/songwriter, Robin Lewis of East Livermore joined the group. With her lovely vocals and quick wit, the band is predicted to reach its full potential. Owen Donnell, drummer/songwriter from Leeds, and Country Jim Palmer, singer/songwriter from Corrina, often join in.
